Wrong place to post but, is anyone here an expert on seeds?

If i place a museum seed in the house of someone elses town, will it break my game or his?

I want to seed this fag's town because he ruined one of my friends themed towns with seeds.

Edit - You cant place things in others houses XD!

No, since I know a lot about seeds.
It will not break his game or yours.

In house: it will be an invisible furniture never to be picked up.
Outside: Now too many seeds will freeze the game and he'll have to restart.

I used about that many (maybe more) when I was testing seed addresses about a year ago, it lags the game.

Can this code be compressed at all? Its a left border mod that puts all pine trees in front of it, using animalmap. The reason I ask is because i have to type it in manually. And ill be doing about 8 more, im not sure on length though.

I can't immediately see why you doubled it...this code looks like it should have the same value here as the original method FNG made. I know FNG's code works, so if one of them has the wrong value here, I'd guess it's yours. Have you tested this code yourself?
F2000000 00000002 <- I suppose this copies two bytes from the offset to our friendly neighborhood unused address, so that

D4000000 0000001C <-Why are you adding 0x1C? This turns flower 0x6E (wilting red tulip) into whatever the flower at 0x8A is. 0x8A is just another wilting flower. You didn't water the flower, you changed what it was! Lots of flowers won't even be flowers any more, after this. What the hell?

It's nice that it's much shorter than FNG's code, and considering that you mirrored FNG's method of getting around the 7 and 8 type codes' issue with using offsets, I'm sure the code could potentially work, but you used some awfully nutty values.

If you're the one who shortened it, then good show; I'll need to replace my copy of FNG's code that I've been editing in order to replace things with this one. I hated the weird offsets FNG used...it looked like it was overwriting my town data, and I'm pretty sure it was, because after using the code the first time, my town got screwed up. 4 extra acres grew cancerously out of the top right of my town, and an acre in the middle was replaced, destroying one of my bridges and making the river look stupid.

One last thing...you say this code is an alternative to the revive flower code I made using FNG's code. From the looks of it, it's not an alternative it all. It looks like you were trying to exactly what my code did. The only difference is, you're using a shorter code, and I'm using better values so that the code will actually work.

It WATERS the flower. So, it's going to be another wilted flower, it's actually the same flower just watered. This is an alternate to the code below or yours...which is longer I believe. I made it because someone requested it on another forum. As for the range, the range you said includes waterd flowers, the one there is the wilted, non-watered as i think i said above I am adding 1C (Edit: I now see I didn't eh, oh well) because it sets the flower to the the watered flower, make sense?
So for example the wilted, non watered red tulip is 6E you add 1C to it and you get the watered red tulip, 8A. Nice try though ;)

You're right, I didn't catch that there were three ranges for flowers (normal, wilting, watered).

I suppose that explains how the hell Nintendo's odd game keeps track of how watered each plant is.

Why not just make a code that makes it so that flowers never need to be watered. Of course I just thought of something that renders that code useless.

If you make that code, it will probably only be in effect when your AR is on, so using the revive code would just be as good. The issue from a non hackers point of view is that each flower has 3 stages: Wilted, normal, and watered. Unless its possible to trick the game into having: watered, watered, and watered, you would have to add an additional type of flower that never needs to be watered, meaning adding additional memory that the game doesnt have(im not so sure about that last line)

Bottom line is, unless you can trick the game, the effects wont be permanant...making it useless.


It felt good writing that, because im not a hacker(i like to imagine me as one, making moments like this cherishable :p), but what I really love, is when im right :D

Is there a certain trick to using the "remove all weeds" and "revive all flowers" code? I've managed to use other codes just fine, but I can't seem to get those two to work. I tried pressing the 3 keys both indoors and outdoors, but nothing happens. XD I'm thinking maybe it has to do with me being cheap and playing on an emulator instead of the real thing?

hmm, I tried that too, but it didn't work. I just noticed that all the codes that require activation don't work for me. All the codes that are automatically activated work though. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Why would you use the "official" one, when it's about twice as long as it needs to be?

Also, yes, I'm sure the fact that you're using an emulator is the problem.

From the lot of work on AC:WW hacking I used to do, it's possible with the Animal Map generator, depends on how you feel having a bricked cart that matters.

I suggest you use animal map, when i used it to generate a code, it was too long, and it couldn't be copyed to the clip board to paste it, so your gonna have to get a save file and make ot so it looks like your town, and edit it how you want :)

Alright guys, look. This is a code request, NOW BEFORE YOU ROLL YOUR EYES AND CALL ME A N00B. I want to say that I have already posted this like 4 times in the AC:WW Request thread.

Does anybody know of a firework code they can work on. So when the code is activated. Fireworks will appear normally on any day you want it to. 4th of July is this Friday, and I was planning on have a party. But of course the USA version (or any version for that matter) does not have fireworks for 4th of July. I just really need this code guys. Can it be possible to make it? I have game version v1.1. Please make this happen for me and my guests. This code will be used on tons of other days when I feel like having fireworks in my town. Anyways. Thanks in advance. :(
