Post subject:  Re: [NDS] Touch the Dead

you are correct about the game ID. I seem to have trouble loading my save in No$gba so I will have to play through the game a bit to get to the other weapons.

EDIT: I am sure there is either a pointer for the shots fired or it is set for each level in an address. Not sure why the other addresses around it seem static such as head, arm, leg, belly shots. O well, I'll figure it out later as I can't figure out how to do a memory dump in Renegade....

The unlock crowbar code is...

Code:
Credit Urusblugo of CMP
Unlock Crowbar
220AFBAC 00000001

You only need the first address in your unlock codes.

More codes from Urusblugo

Code:
Max Power Pistol
220AFBB0 00000003

Max Power Shotgun
220AFBB8 00000003

Max Power Submachine Gun
220AFBC0 00000003

Max Power Crowbar
220AFBA8 00000003

And a 1 line Health/Lives code
020AFBA4 00630005

Thanks for the stat codes, we were working on this game yesterday as well and I wasn't sure how to go about finding them.

You only need the first address in your unlock codes.

Thanks for pointing that out. Turns out the first address alone wouldn't unlock the weapons in the emulator if I had already begun playing. The pictures showed but they were not selectable. I tested the first line only on the AR and it works fine in my game.

What is the maximum value that can be put in the stat codes? (Zombies Killed, Shots Fired Level 1, Shots Hit Level 1, Head Shots, Arm Shots, Leg Shots, Belly Shots)

Is it "FFFF" ?

each level has different addresses for stats if i'm not mistaken... you can put 03E7, it shouldn't be more than that.

Infinite Time (CB)

As for that, the stats appeared to be working across 2 different levels but I could be mistaken as the shots fired and hit did change on me. It probably does need a pointer though and I guess if no one does it I will do it tomorrow after work.

don't take me wrong, ARDS is good and all but damn, there are too many code types to remember...

heres a quote from Ps2 Mod in CB forum about ps2 cb, the reason i don't like ARDS is underlined.

Pyriel wrote:
As far as bias goes, I preferred the CodeBreaker on the PS2 because it provided the features that were most important to me. Most notably, it loads very quickly, and I remember all of its commands, even the obscure ones, without the need for a reference list.

but anyway, no one here cares about XD but i like simple code types, besides cbds code types are similar to ps2 cb then for me it's all good.

about the codes you post, i don't know if is you that post the codes in the official site but if is, here's a suggestion:

A example

Ball Speed Always -1 (SUPER Slow!)
22058ab8 00000001

Ball Speed Always Normal
22058ab8 00000002

Ball Speed Always +1
22058ab8 00000003

Ball Speed Always +2
22058ab8 00000004

why post the same code repeatedly just changing the values?

why not

Ball Speed Mod
22058ab8 000000??

and put a value list since the codes are unencrypted? i don't get you guys at ar site... really... it just take a lot of space for nothing.
