Here's my contribution:

In Amity Square, you can have a Pokémon follow you around. Every 200 steps, if you check your Pokémon, you will get something (a decoration for your Fashion Case or a berry). The following is untested, but when it's on, the 200 steps should be reduced to zero - every time you check your Pokémon you should be getting the item.



Feel free to put it in a wrapper of some sort.

* : You should replace each XXs with the number you want (00~1F) to set each IV value (1F will max out the IVs). I guess that the IV are, in the codes order : HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense.

And so when i found the IVs i needed i did it like this:

but, it did not work. What am i doing wrong?

the numbers at the end arent in hex

the hex values that you used to replace the xx's were not within the range of 00 and 1f.. 1f is 31 (16+15=31 in decimal) which is the max IVs go.. 21 in hex is (16*2)+1) = 33 in decimal..

Note: Semi-beta; Currently just sets "Last Pokemon Search" to 00, which is what it starts as.

Edit: Location apparently doesn't stay the same. Anyone who feels like making it follow where the location is, be my guest. I'm lazy.

Yar, I be a game Painter, I lay out the colors, find the ones I want, then combine them into a liking of my way, even if I have to start from scratch sometimes.

If those last 8 bits of each line is in decimal, you might want to convert them to hex.

So replace 21 with 15, 16 with 10, 31 with 1F, 25 with 19, the last 31 with 1F.
21 = 2^4 + 2^2 + 2^0 -> 0001 0101 = 15
16 = 2^4 = 0001 0000 = 16
6 would equal 6, since 0-9 are the same in decimal as it is in hex.
31 = 2^4 + 2^3 + 2^2 + 2^1 + 2^0 = 0001 1111 = 1F; F = 15 in decimal and 2^3 + 2^2 + 2^1 + 2^0 = 15.
25 = 2^4 + 2^3 + 2^0 = 0001 1001 = 19

This code doesn't seem to work completely. I always only end up with 4 stars.

You're going to end up with four stars because you did not complete something. That code just changes all the records. I forgot how I did it because it was so long ago, but I think you have to beat the master contest to get it. I remember trying to get to 100 wins in Battle Tower, but I remained 4 stars. =/
