and I still get random battles.

Can someone PLEASE make a No Random Battles code that actually works.

Actually, this one:
; No Random Battles
; L+R+UP = TURNS OFF RANDOM BATTLES
; L+R+DOWN = TURNS ON RANDOM BATTLES
94000130 FCBF0000

92117E58 00006D69
12117E5A 00001C49
D2000000 00000000
worked for early on in the game, but starting when I first got to Troia, when I try to use the code I still get random battles. :x

push L+Select
All Abilities for all characters
94000130 FDFB0000
C0000000 0000000C

020D62DC 00047FC0
Dc000000 000001C0
D2000000 00000000

hiei i found another problem with the "move very fast and walk through walls" code, its a bug that ruins the game, my ship that takes me to the moon has disappeared, i saved over all 3 files too so my entire game is now wrecked >_<, can someone please make a code that can teleport you to the moon or something please? (for example, enter into a building but end up in the final castle on the moon)

thanks to anyone who does

Can anyone help with the No Random Battles codes? Or has no one else had any problems with the No Random Battles codes like I have?

No random battle code works fine here. If those button activator combinations doesn't work for you then try use other button combinations. I've already posted the name of a great for doing that on the previous 1 or 2 pages.

I've tried a different button combination already, it didn't help. As I said the one I originally used worked fine early on in the game(even with other codes on), but once I got to about Lodestone Cavern and I tried to use the NRB code along with Infinite HP and Infinite MP I'd still get random battles, however, if I used the NRB code all by itself it would work just fine.
Could the code just need to be rehacked as opposed to just having been converted from Hiei's CB code?

Also, which No Random Battle code are you referring to?

ps: the only way the code doesn't get working is: this dungeon has a different coding for random battles (probably like has a LOT of it) or 2, it resets the programing in some cases (like when changing areas), in this case, setting a trigger to always write (like holding B in my original code) should solve this.

I would, but I have no way of uploading a save file since the ARDS doesn't do saves. Why do you need a save file anyway, couldn't you just start a new game and hack the code?

Well, I've tried every No Random Battles code I could find and I had the same kind of problem with every one of them. What's weird is that the NRB code WOULD work, but only if I had the NRB code on and nothing else and the only code I was trying to use along with it were the Infinite HP and Infinite MP codes. As to a save, could you use the one that khuong posted earlier in this topic or is it not far enough into the game?

I'm trying to use the following code to get ????'s Love to drop after a battle:

Code:
920F2338 000010FF
020F2330 00000000
020F233C EBFC3741
02000048 E59F0000
0200004C E12FFF1E
02000050 000023CE
D0000000 00000000

but after a battle it freezes, with hr50 as the item (obviously an error).

do I need to wait until after the encounter with weddingway where I establish ????'s actual name?

Thanks.

It could be a combo problem then. When I used the No Random Battle together with the Always Preemptive Attack code, it'll freeze when fighting the Mom Bomb. If both codes used separately, there's no problem.

Would there be anyway to fix the problem? Also, exactly which No Random Battles code are you using? The one khuong posted or the one in Narin's post? THere is a small difference between them:

Though I don't know if that difference would make any difference or not.

converting from my cbds code, this in theory should work, but since the code isn't working with other codes (which i believe it's not the problem) then i don't know.

Code:
No Random Battles [Hold B]
92117E58 00006D69
12117E5A 00001C49
94000130 FFFD0000
12117E5A 00002100
D2000000 00000000

12117E5A 00002100
D2000000 00000000

Ok, just did some testing. When used the code by itself, it worked perfectly. However, when I used the code in conjunction with the Infinite HP and Infinite MP codes, I still got random battles. This was on the world map, BTW.

Here are the other two codes I was using:
Infinite HP in Battle
920f69b4 0000eb04
120f69b6 00006842
020f69b8 e00f6002

Infinite MP in Battle
92122e62 0000c3a0
02122e64 e5940004
02123d70 e5950004

Well, I seem to have finally figured out the problem. This whole time the problem was that the Infinite HP and Infinite MP code I had been using needed the D0000000 00000000 line added to it. Once I added that line to the two code, everything worked perfectly.

I used a reversed one, where always no random battle, hold B to have random battle.
Anyways, use the one Hiei just posted together with the Inf HP/MP code and see if you still have random battles while hold the B button. If you still have random battles then it would definitely be a combo problem.

If you don't use a "end if" to clear the offsets etc..., all the following codes will be affected, next time try remembering that before saying "OMG THE CODE DON'T WORK, PLEASE SOMEONE MAKE A WORKING ONE!!!!!!!!!!".

Sorry, Hiei, I didn't realize I needed to add the "end if" until I compared the codes I had on my AR to what Narin had in his post where he compiled all the codes into one post. Also, it wasn't completely my fault because the post that originally copyed and pasted the codes from didn't have the "end if" lines on the code and thus I didn't realize the "end if" was needed. Oh, well, live and learn, I guess. :)

Ok, great codes all arround except, has anyone been able to hack (or is trying for) a have all items code. beaten the game multiple times now, but in all versions of the game I've never had the extra summons for rydia (goblin, bomb, and the other 2). also need to get the rainbow jelly, but the drop rate is as bad as the extra summons. would use the items after battle code to get it, but thats a lot of coding to enter just for 5 items.

Already an all-items code. Somewhere on page 4.
