Can someone please make this code.

- 1 Auto-potion augment/decant(the name in japanese trasnlated to english)

I don't want to cheat for this game really but i sorta screwed up and gave the wrong decant to the wrong person. So i really need this before palom and porom go. So i can get dual cast decant by my own.

It should be easy since you guys made all decants on 1 code so please :D. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit- Never mine i found the code thanks for someone who put it!

by the way, i hate have to register in an unknown forum just to get some codes since you can get it from here (better source i guess 8-) )

Actually, there are five minigames, each one featuing a different character(Cecil/Kain/Rosa/Rydia/Edge)which is why there are multiple codes, but if you can make a single code that will accomplish the same thing as multiple codes that would be cool. You get to them by using the fat chocobo after Rydia has officially join your party(the first place you will find a fat chocobo is in Kaipo) you just talk to the fat chocobo and choose the first option. The minigames are used to increase the stats for Rydia's Eidolon(which is named Whyt by default), which can take her place in a battle when she summons it. You get get to Kaipo pretty close to the beginning of the game and you could probably get to that point in 30 minutes, probably even sooner if your fast, so you may be able to get by without a save.

Hmm, why is there no code for Edge's minigame? :? Also, on the code for Cecil shouldn't the second line start with a 1, like the other three, instead of a 0?

Omnicasting is the one you're looking for.

Oh ok. I guess the guide I was looking at was for the japanese version or something. They did call Edward Gilbert so I guess it's a possibiblty.

i don't want to play the game, that's why I'm asking a save file. and yes, it may be possible hacking a single code for all minigames if the game is coded this way. all possible with asm hacking.

What about this, SerebiiSerebii? I mean the second line of the rest of the minigame codes starts with a 1, but the second line of the code for Cecil's minigame starts with a 0. I would make sense that the second line of Cecil's minigame code should start with a 1, just like the rest of the minigame codes.

You guys... SERIOUSLY. Get over the QUESTIONING of the damn code and TRY it. Test & error, ever heard of the method?

And, if you're so afraid to test them, here:

THEY WORK. Learn a little hex before you question so much, maybe. No flaming intended... just kinda radical with the questioning.

like mbruno mentioned, i see no reason to use a 32bit write if you're using a 16bit value.

Well, I did change it to a 16bit write when I entered it into my AR.:P Out of curiosity, Hiei, would using a 32bit write with a 16bit value cause any problems?

The "all abilities for all characters" code works nicely! Thank you!

But is there a way to make a code to actually "teach" different characters magic spells?

Even if you equip Black Magic, White Magic, or Summon on a character that doesn't normally learn it, they can't use it in battle.

Does such a code exist?

Or if it doesn't yet, would it be possible?

I don't know anything about hacking, and I'm not sure how the game mechanics work, but if a code were to be created, would there be any problems with the animations for a spell? Would the game be able to show Kain summoning or Edge performing Meteor correctly?

There are all magics, all summons code in the (J) version. By looking at them, it might not be possible to do a single all magics code for all characters, but it can do done individually.

If someone wants to do it:

Just add 170 to the (J) address to the the (U) address.

one more to test

Code:
Item Mod Enabler
020D8080 000003E8

Code:
Slot #1
020D7A80 0063????

Is it me or just noone else is having trouble with the Items, Key Items codes?
When the Item Mod Enabler value is greater than the number of Items you have, example
Item Mod Enabler value is 63h (99 Items) and you only have 62h (98 Items), when you scroll the list with the R button, the game will freeze.
Anybody else experience this? Try the All Decants Code (KeyItem Mod Enabler 020D8284 00000030, 30h (48) and there are only 42 Decants) and see if it also freeze on yours.

Yeah, it's happened to me before. I think the item mod enable (or key item, in your case) will have to be set to the exact number that will be in the list, once the items you want are inserted. But it's just a guess, since I haven't played with those codes all that much.

what button(s) did you set the joker to?

Start.

could you redo the joker line so that the joker command is Y instead of Start? because Y is probably the LEAST-used button in the game besides Select, and Select's been abit overused.

Quick questions: Ain't the offset between each characters is 1C0 ? How come it's E0 in the code. And there are total 14 characters in the game (counting both dark and light Cecil s), then 0C should be 0D?

you're right, E0 is used in CB slide code only because it uses a 16bit write (1C0h / 2h = E0) and yes, there are 14 characters data block in the game. besides it should be 0C in AR version because the first write counts. first write + 0C = 0D

EDIT: a stupid code

Code:
All Damage is Halved by XX times [Hold L]
920E3E6C 00004010
020E3E70 E1A04001
94000130 FDFF0000
020E3E70 E1A04XX1
D2000000 00000000

XX Values
0A = x2
12 = x4
1A = x8
22 = x16
2A = x32

Don't use with Damage Multiplier.

If you or the enemy do 1000 damage, halved by 2 times should give you only 500. No need to explain, it's self explanatory :P

err math time...14 characters = E hex
Shouldn't it be first write + D = E?
So, C0000000 0000000D should be correct for all characters.

And, I have notice alot of people are using Jokers with the Select button mostly, not many Start, X, Y buttons. Here's a great tool for people who doesn't know other Joker combinations, google this: dskeycmk
Also, Y = 94000136 fffd0000 X = 94000136 fffe0000

Finally, after more testing on the Item (Decants) Mod Enabler code
Item Mod Enabler
220D8080 00000030
If you used value 30h (48) it means that 48 Slots had been used and if you have a only total 40 items in your bag, that means 8 slots will remain empty and the next item you get will be in slot 49. When ever the game touches an empty slot, the game will freeze.
