Is there a Move Modifier code yet? You know, the one you use for teaching Pokemon moves they usually can't learn naturally or at all. That's the only code so far that isn't made for this game. The original one for D/P looks like this:

920F84EE 00000151
120F84EC 0000XXXX
D2000000 00000000

By inputting the correct codes into the four Xs, you can change TM01 into whatever move, and then combined with the learn any HM/TM code, you can teach your Pokemon any move you want.

What would make you think BOOM_lolxD made that code?

He said he doesn't know if it works when he posted it.

Anyways, I made the code yesterday and posted it at the pokesav.org forums and at 6:10 PM (Pacific time) I posted it at gbatemp.net [u=http://gbatemp.net/index.php?act=findpost&hl=&pid=1849945]http://gbatemp.net/index.php?act=findpost&hl=&pid=1849945[/u]

He posted the code at 6:52 PM (Pacific). It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened.

Well, I can certainly vouch for you that it works. I've finally started my adventure in the game and even the starter is shiny. Thanks for the code, SCV.

Thanks for the Shiny code! Has anyone made one that lets you change the PID of an already caught Pokemon so that it becomes shiny?

I'm gonna go post a request in the request thread for a move modifier now, so you can check there for one in a couple days or whatever.
EDIT: There seems to not be much going on there. I posted it but if anyone here wants to give it a go, I have a cool DP version I want. You press L+R and get 467 Heart Scales. Then you drop heart scales to get the move you want. Then Hold L and teach a Pokemon TM 17 PROTECT, but instead of Protect, they will learn the move you chose. For example, drop 407 Heart Scales so that you have 60. Hold L and teach TM 17 to Blissey. Blissey will learn Fissure.

Here's the original D/P code:

94000130 fdff0000
B21c4d28 00000000
B0000004 00000000
94000130 feff0000
00000890 01d3005d
D0000000 00000000
Dc000000 00000892

I double checked the code after doing a manual input and it wasnt working, though I am going to be sparing in my use of Mega EXP because of the huge jump it gains. When I tested it on a Luxray at 37 it jumped all the way to roughly 47-48 which while liking to have some lvl advantage in a battle, is excessive to me for the time being.

Thanks for the awesome codes guys. I have one question and one request. Does the Platinum IV Check code affect the stats in any way, or is it just temporary?

Secondly could anyone convert this Instant Breed/Egg code from US D/P to US Platinum...

Code:
921ED3D0 00000E00
121ED3D2 00004280
121ED3EE 000042A5
D2000000 00000000

Thanks once again.

I personally turn it off after I check and dont save I think it does stay permanent so just turn off to be safe

Yeah that's probably the best option. Although after I deposit a Pokémon into one of my boxes and then withdraw it, the stats return to normal.
The IV Check code for D/P was MUCH better in my opinion, when the TMs change to match the Pokémon's IVs... Perhaps someone can port this code rather than the stat modify one?

The Vs Seeker Charge code doesn't work, it seems to make the game 'reset' and return to the title screen without any codes being on. Not sure why though. I copy-pasted it directly to my AR

What are you using for a cheat device, ARDS, FlashCart. I need to know because I tested this on my N5(R4 Clone), and on regular ARDS with the regular game cart. I have had other people test it and it works for them.

As for this one it does work, I have had people test it on GBAtemp test, and it fully works. I have also tested it on ARDS with the real game cart. If you keep having issues with ar I will send you an xml file I compiled for Platinum codes. and you can do it that way.

I am using a ARDS cart and the codes just dont work in Trainer battles for me and I have double and tripled checked all of the code and it put it in right.

Baka: I cant update my ARDS thanks to the craptacular support that Codejunkies has for 64 bit Vista systems making the file useless.

Hmm. Vista sucks. but on the other hand I made my codes from Action Replay Trainer Toolkit, and tested them on action replay as well as N5(R4 Clone), and they were working.

do you think you can borrow a friends computer and install the ards software on it. Maybe that would work. Also did you try any other codes, were they not working as well.

to those wanting the gradecia flower thingy there is a code to get it but to get it you also get all the other KEY items in the game with it. Meaning if you use this code you will get ALL KEY ITEMS

Code:
Select+up
94000130 FFBB0000
62101D40 00000000
B2101D40 00000000
D5000000 000101AC
C0000000 00000027
D6000000 000008D8
D4000000 00000001
D2000000 00000000

Not sure who made it but i got it from the GBAtemp site and I have tested it.....it works.

I wanted to make a note about Skyforme.
Glacedia doesn't work on the Shaymin from Pearl/Diamond. I traded mine over in hopes that it would give me the flower, and it didn't. I decided to catch the Shaymin in Platinum and on a whim, decided to talk to the girl in Florama and she gave it to me. After obtaining it, the flower only worked on my Platinum Shaymin and not the old one.

So apparently unlocking the flower is not needed, just getting the Platinum Shaymin is fine.

Edit: After a quick test. The flower also doesn't work on any Shaymin caught with the modifier code either. I suggest someone make a re-event code to see if that'll work.

Ok I dont think I understand you. Do you mean that if I use the code to get oaks letter on platinum then the shaymin wont transform? or what?

Only if it's the Shaymin from Platinum will it change.
The Pearl one I had refused to change.

Sorry for the confusion.

Actually they are supposed to change if from diamond or pearl its just they need to have had a "fateful encounter"

No chance after the fact the only other person I know with the software decided via MSN, he didnt want me to be around him any more. So I am royally screwed. I could always buy another ARDS, but it seems pointless to do that since I will have to reenter the event codes, Fast Egg hatch, and all pokeballs. I have had no problems with any other codes besides the the EXP.

So would that mean if you used the Event Code for Shaymin to capture it on Platinum wouldnt be able to?

You have the option in pokesav, under where you met the pokemon, to have it say "a fateful encounter".
