Also 1 thing I would like to note... the Hero hp/mp codes work only for male hero and not the female heroine...

Ah. That would explain why the codes weren't working for me in chapter 5.

I don't use a flash cart. I just have the regular AR. Will these codes and the codes on DScoders work for me? I have never entered any codes into it manually. Is the Game ID required? Thanks.

Here's a working max stats code for Psaro, if that will help in finding HP and MP codes:

I did some number crunching and figured out the address values for the heroine. Here they are for anyone who's interested in them:

Heroine Infinite HP
120C8DDA 000003E7

Heroine Infinite MP
120C8DDE 000003E7

Can anyone help me here?

Have 80 of All Items (Excluding Key Items) in Bag
94000130 FFFB0000
D5000000 00500001
C0000000 00000079
D6000000 020C7B48
D4000000 00000001
D2000000 00000000

I just want 1 of each...but I tried changing the C0000000 00000079 to C0000000 00000001, and it still gave me 80 items...

I don't REALLY need it right away...I'm just curious as to wheter or not it can be done.

Try changing D5000000 00500001 to D5000000 00010001.

Title: Loto The Dragon Warrior
I hope this is the right forum thread to make a request for this game. Am I right or not? Please tell me. I have a suggestion for this game. I like the codes so far. Thanks for everyone's efforts who makes these codes.

Title: TAI CHI
Will using the European codes for the U.S. version mess up the AR, DS, or the game? If not, are there codes for Infinte HP and MP for all the characters?

Title: Supreme Galactic Overlord
(This is a repost...I somehow managed to post this entry as a seperate topic under Handheld Hijinks :suicide:)

Hello there to all who still frequent this thread.

I am completely new to this forum/site, so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong thread. Here is what I want to know: I found a JP Action Replay code for DQIV on a game faq/cheat site that I often frequent for detailed strategy guides. Here is the URL: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessa ... c=40663403 .

I found that quite a number of the codes posted worked on my US version Action Replay kit, for the same US version NDS DQ:IV CoTC game. Unfortunately there was one in there that I would really love to have that did not seem to work for me. Given that I am requesting some help with the existing code (and so a hopefully minor modification to fix it), I was unsure if this was to go under code requests or this forum. Since it is a pre-existing code of sorts, I will post here. If I need to post to the code request forum, just let me know and I'll set it up there. Also please accept my apologies if that is the case.

OK. So the code is for the current character to always deal 'critical hits' with every enemy strike, apparently. Here is what was listed in the above URL:

Always land critical hits
12019068 0000E012
120190C8 0000E02B

I tried inputting the codes in my AR DS cartridge, along with other working codes, such as infinite casino coins, and the code to switch day to night. Unfortunately, it did not work at all! I am completionist verging on obsessive, and I want to level up Torneko/Taloon at the silver statuette cave using the code while still in chapter 3. Of course, by always dealing critical hits, I could take out a Metal Slime in a single blow, and therefore avoid having them run away within the first to second round of 'battle.'

Has anyone here come across a working version of that code, for the US version ARDS, for DQIV? If somehow the code simply does not work in that chapter, can someone clarify it for me?

I am sure that this would be a great code for others as well as myself, playing through the US game release. Can someone help? Once again let me know if I need to post this elsewhere, or if the formatting/etiquette here was incorrect. I have *just* signed up in hopes of finding the answer, as I kept coming up with the above in search engine requests that I made.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could offer me. By the way, I do realize that my username is misspelled. (Should be ZenithIan.) I may have to create a new profile/login, not sure. I credit the insanity to fatigue, confusion, frustration, and small quantities of beer. :?

Code:

120190C8 0000E02B

I just tested it and it doesn't work for me either.
