First of all, I wish to apologize to the moderators here if I have posted this in the wrong section but since it is connected to codes for the Nintendo DS, I decided to post it here. If this is the wrong section, feel free to move it.

With that out of the way, I just wanted to fill you people in on the cheat database I maintain and no, this isn't an advertisement. I have been getting several angry PMs now and again about me stealing codes and cheats from others and so on. This can't be farther from the truth. I am a code hacker myself and have spent a lot of my free time creating codes which I only post here on Kodewerx and include them in the Cheat Database so I understand why people would want to be credited for their work.

First of all, I take no credit for the Cheat Database, all credit goes to the people who worked hard to supply cheats for it. While I have created quite a few codes for the cheat database, its only a small fraction compared to the number of cheats that others have contributed. Also I would like to point out that I am not the original creator of the cheat database. It was created by Rayder and also maintained by a couple others before me so many of the included codes have been added before my time.

I do not steal any cheats from people, I do not use any cheats if the user or the site the cheats are on specifies not to distribute them. Also I do give credit where credit is due as I include a text file with every download and even on the website for everyone to view. The problem is, many people PM and post cheats and do not specify where they originated or who created them, because of such, I ask that all code hackers to contact me if they find any of their codes in the cheat database in which they weren't credited for. I am more than happy to work with you to give you the credit you deserve. If you find any of your cheats in the cheat database, please contact me and I will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

As I stated before, I take no credit for the cheats and I simply maintain the cheat database. I don't get paid for it or compensated in any way for it. I maintain it all in my free time for the benefit of everyone. I have a day job myself that eats up 8-9 hours of my day so what little free time I have is dedicated to the cheat database. In a short amount of time, it has grown in popularity and been receiving many downloads and visitors to it. By contributing codes to it and becoming a part of the cheat database, you are literally opening yourself up to thousands of people and gaining a lot of public recognition. So it is a win win situation, the cheat database receives new codes and well, you become more famous in the process.

As a final note, I will not distribute the cheats outside of the cheat database nor give permission for anyone else to use them. It is far beyond my right to give other people permission to use cheats that I have not created myself. Also as I stated before, I'm more than happy to work with you to give you the credit you deserve, I don't want to come off as someone who is simply going around stealing cheats from others.

i remember now that i have to owe you a thanks for the information in your signature. i went up to 1.18 and though oh crap all the cheats are gone, then when i was on here to get some, i saw your signature and saw the part about the patched cheat.dat. so thanks for that link, i thought god had smiled on me at 3 AM lol.

So make sure you keep it for others to see it when they make the update
