Title: All in a day's work.
Loads of NOP instructions (I can tell by the EAs, and from having seen many a WTW in my day) instead of shortcuts like changing a store instruction to a load or well-placed branches.

I believe this was one of my first asm hacks outside of the basic inc/dec modifications (lol was kinda new to the whole rom modification at this point). Modifying opcode instead of the instruction as a whole is much more efficient (the many EA's represent per byte termination of the whole instruction in this case), but unfortunately I was not aware of this at the time of this posting. Looking back on this post (and many more of my earlier ones) makes me want to weep for my former self lol. Great work on condensing it down helder.
