Although I don't plan on using any of the other codes, the Walk Over Objects code doesn't work for me. Is there supposed to be something else I need to do?

I'm actually using wiigator's backup loader but it's the same as Gecko OS since the loader is built off of gecko's source code. I've gotten Ocarina to work on my Brawl for the stage editor so it shouldn't be any different with this game.

It hasn't been nearly long enough to be considered "dead".

You're just ridiculously impatient.

I spoke with an AC hacker the other day who had already begun porting an AC:WW code he had made to the Wii version at a speed you ought to be more excited about.

I think it was the "replace objects" code.

Virus from GH has already made a program that is very similar to animalmap.
Features:
- Map editor (used to place items and move buildings around your town)
- Pocket (Inventory) editor
- Emotion modifier
- Appearance modifier
- Wallet, ABD, points modifier
- Gate style modifier

He is also constantly adding new features. And it's awesome :D

Text to Item

Converted from the ac:ww version (ARM ASM) to AC:CF (PowerPC ASM) by Maniac (a.k.a. A_Random_Person)
Thanks Hetoan2 for the Text Address.

For those who don't know how to use this you type the hex of the item you want to have in slot 1 of your inventory (Yes, it overwrites what is there currently) So if I type 9010 then send it I will have a cherry in the first inventory slot. You can now use uppercase or lowercase.

Press Plus + Z + C after you send the message
Code:
286DFC80 9FEF6010
C0000000 0000000C

Code shortened :]

Edit: Code updated now works with all offline players.

It only has the play 1 slot 1 item address, you can edit it yourself ya know. (unless you feel like trying to find a point for the slots) >_>

Code:
--
Check new updated code.
--

XXXX its the front 16-bits of the item address.
YYYY is that last 16-bits of the item address.

Wouldn't XXXX be the Player and YYYY be the Slot? I'm a little confused here being I've only made a simple code or two. Then I don't wanna mess it up cause trying it out is a hassle since I'm on a Mac using the unsupported codemanager via CrossOver (works like a quarter of the time)

Would just be easier if you crunch the numbers.
1 Question though for future Reference, is the address combined? Like Player 1 Slot 1 = 01 , Player 2 Slot 1 = 10 (assuming there are 15 slots per bag?)

Like a slot address for P2 is 0x90E371E2
XXXX would be 90E3
YYYY would be 71E2
...get it?

0x90E2EB22 is P1 S1 and
0x90E371E2 is P2 S1
So...
90E2|EB22
90E3|71E2

I can see how you changed the first half but if the second half of the first part = 60194 and the second = 29154 , it kinnda seems random.

As the Decimal value? don't worry about it. The way you have to put addresses in for the wii makes them always split because your doing...

lis r27,0x90E2 //Load immediate shifted (so r27 = 0x90E20000)
ori r27, r27,0xEB22 //OR immediate with r27 (so r27 = 0x90E2EB22)

That's a little easier to understand, but I doubt I'll get it 100%. As for the code, it works with P2 but only when it's used by P1. I have P1 and P2 codes both active (on a side note is there anyway to enable/disable codes directly from the Wii?) and when I'm on P1 and use it the item shows up in slot 1 in both bags, on P2 when I use the code it does nothing. Also, I've tried the hex for the Pikmin Hat twice using this method (both codes active) with a result of having my game froze. I'll experiment with it some more tommorow.

You need to have seen the hat before, or have wiiconnect24 on (I forget which) in order for the pikmin hat hex to work. You can use wiicm (thats actually what I always use :\) to turn off and on codes on the wii btw.. (you may need to hex edit your text files that have the codes in them..anywho if it doesn't work tell me >__>). As for the codes make sure your using the updated ones (with E0000000 80008000 on the end) and try using different button activators so the codes aren't conflicting with each other, as they would use the same registers. If that doesn't work I may have to look into the text address changing when your on P2 though I didn't think it did. Anyhow I hope that helped :]

WiiCM just converts the .txt into .gct, what I meant was to select which .gct Gecko uses or edit that .gct from the Wii. Even when changing the activators the code can still only be used by P1 and not P2.

Wiicm lets you select which codes are on also. Did you try just having one code on btw...?

Not just the 2nd, I can try it (WiiCm froze my Wii when I tried it out the first time, I can try again).

The codes should show up in wiicm, if they don't your .txt isn't formatted right, and if they don't show up when you press home it will freeze.

In the (near) future it should work with all 4 players, just be patient XD

It can work with all 4 right now, all you need to do is change the activators along with the slot addresses. This will add a different activator per code so there would be no switching between characters. How I usually work with codes is just search for the right addresses but with consoles it seems harder, mainly because I don't have a digital copy of the game on my HD like I have with DS games (so that's no good).

No I meant it'll work with all 4 at the same time.

XD I meant it will be a single code that will work for all 4 characters. It'll be a lot shorter than your method
