Here are my WiFi codes for MKWII-U. I've had these for months and am making them public. Proof? Google ihack@you and see how far back the threads date. Fill in the XX and Y values from the table below. You need both codes in this order. And don't apply the codes in the middle of a race. [Write Char Offset] D27E4DDC 00000002 3FE08000 93BF1500 3BE00000 00000000 [Always Have Item *Works anywhere] - Figure out how to add your own button activator 48000000 809BEE20 DE000000 80008180 58010000 00000014 DE000000 80008180 48100000 80001500 DE000000 80008180 1400008C 000000XX 14000090 0000000Y E0000000 80008000 Y always = 1 unless otherwise stated. Quote: X Values 14 = Nothing, Y = 0 12 = Triple Bannans, Y = 3 11 = Triple Reds, Y = 3 10 = Triple Greens, Y = 3 0F = Bullet Bill 0E = Lightning 0D = POW 0C = Blooper 0B = Mega Shroom 0A = Gold Shroom 09 = Star Power 08 = Lightning 07 = Blue shell 06 = Bomb 05 = Shrooms, Y = 3 04 = 1 Shroom 03 = Fake Box 02 = Bannana 01 = Red shell 00 = Green Shell http://members.cox.net/dexter0/ EDIT: "Write char offset" is an assembly hook that writes the offset needed to access your character to a special place in memory that can be used by the other code. It hooks the routine that displays the item box to be specific. |

Since they're public, go ahead and put them on the DB if you haven't already. |

Google WiiRD Gecko OS and Homebrew Channel. You don't need hardware and it's all free. |

Its an important part of balance system in the game. If someone is far ahead in first place the only items that can directly affect them is the lightening, the pow block, and the blue shell. THe lightening and the pow block affects everyone so it cancels out. If the blue shell didn't exist the first player would of had too huge of an advantage. The rest of the players in the race would be fighting among themselves while the lucky person how happens to get a wide enough gap from the crowd at early stage of the race would always be the winner. That alone can make alot of the races stale and hence ruin the game. |

Except when the guys in 2nd, 3rd and 4th take him out with red/green shells, thrown bananas, and other projectiles. 64 and Super Circuit didn't have these problems. Someone make some codes to do something about those lovely scenarios (every round or so) where you're cruising along in the last lap kicking ass and then you get hit by 2 blue shells, a red shell, and a POW block, grab an item that could give you a chance of getting back in the game, and get hit by lightning/another player and knocked off the track, losing it just as you've seen what it even is. Becuase that happens much too often. Literally every goddamn time. |

HyperHacker is absolutely right, but he could be righter. I wonder if anyone ever stopped to think that maybe someone who is in first place deserves to be there, and that this so called "balance" Nintendo (and apparently others? WTF?!) think is helping the game by making it so people in first end up in last and people in last end up in first isn't actually "balance" at all, because it causes EVERY SINGLE RACE to end in a way that gives no indication of anyone's skill, which completely ruins the game for people who have played more than people who haven't. Which means no one will be able to stand the game after a short while. I don't see how that helps sales or mental health. I don't see how it's "fair" to make someone lose for being good at a game. I call this phenomena "Nintendo Programming" and I call bullshit. It needs to stop. Make the code; quit talking about "blue shells being fair", they're not, end of story. Edit: Cool story for you, bro. I was a beast at MKDS. Almost hit a few world records. 3 stars, pro at snaking. Yeah. I hated items. You know what I hated more? People who thought that snaking was cheating (despite it taking more concentration) and that items required "more skill". Uh, no. Items are fun because they USED to make it so that things were interesting for even the experienced players, not necessarily having their way with noobs. But things have gotten out of hand. Punishing skill is blasphemous and honestly should be a federal crime. |
