Okay, please bare with me, will try to explain my question with a minimum of text
I'm going to use wrong addresses, as I'm currently at work and don't have the real locations available to me..
Rune factory on ideas emulator (found through CE or another cheat tool on PC):
money memory location = 555555
Rune factory on NDS (found through the AR codes on codejunkies or kodewerx):
money = memory location 666666
difference = 111111
I verified this with another code I found for this game and indeed, the memory location on the NDS is also 111111 bytes
away from the memory location on the emulator..
Does this mean, that once I find the 'base difference' between a variable on the NDS and the ideas emulator, that I can just use this difference to figure out other ram location I find on my NDS emulator ? Are these things static on the NDS or do they hop around ?
(sorry if this doesn't make sense at all.. equally sorry for not using hex addresses, but this made it easier for me to explain)
