Interesting. It looks like http://www.nintendowifi.com got a make over... and it also seems that the leader board is down. The Metroid Prime Hunters page wouldn't load anything, and I know this computer has all the right plug ins and is plenty fast enough to load.

Looks like Nintendo is finally taking some action! I think we can thank Parasyte for that.

Good thing I got the fuck off the leader board when I did. ;)

They still can't do much. Delete your game, delete your Connection ID, go to a friend's house, they still can't do anything.

That method does not work on the DS lite. They ban the MAC address on the DS lite, and it's very hard to get around that. If you have a DS lite, you're basically fucked unless you can talk them out of banning you.

Check the source. The page stops loading halfway through.

The unbanner code was never publicly released.

Nintendo bans DS Phats by banning the Nintendo WiFi ID. Erasing it doesn't work, so I hypothesize that even if you erase the first one, the DS keeps a second copy that they compare with the ban list while it is asking for a new ID.

so theres no way out? or if you make a code that deletes the copy. like a system hack. someone did a backlight hack so maybe it could be possible.

DS Lites can not be unbanned
DS Phats can be unbanned

There is a code for the DS Phat to unban you, but it just changes your WFC ID, which you can change by clearing your WFC settings. DS Lite is banned via the MAC address, so it's not possible to unban it(yet) without contacting Nintendo asking them to unban you.
