Just received it, and looked at the code database. Not much to say :
- Codes are unencrypted.
- From the 5 codes I've looked at it seems to use the same code types than the DS Action Replay (but maybe some codes type are now PSP specifics).

Also FYI in the box is :
- a Memory Stick<-MicroSD adapter.
- a 1GB microSD (no visible brand), PSP-formatted, with the AR software(s)/data on it.
- an "action replay battery enabler" hardware than can turns your psp battery into (I guess) a "pandora" one, and turn it back to a normal battery.
- a short doc.

Can the memory stick adapter work for normal uses? How much money?

EDIT: Can you put the data contents up for download?

They did what now? Kind of an interesting way of doing a PSP cheat device...

I suppose this won't work on the new PSP-3000, since the Pandora's battery hack doesn't work on there? I won't be surprised if they discontinue this like the Wii freeloader.

there is a pic

And here is a link to codejunkies site about it

http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/PSP- ... 00681.aspx

I am wondering what size the battery is. Is it the 2000 size, cuz if it is it wont fit in the originals and if it is a phat battery then it will fit but not be able to cover.

Also if it is just software on a memstick, can we have a download to the software?

You put the battery in, press a button, and you will have a Pandora battery. Only works on 1000 & 2000, since 3000 won't work with Pandoras. 2k PSPs with the new mobos won't work either. 1000 and 2000 batteries are the same thing. 2000 batteries are just smaller.

Oh and you just need the software on the stick.

No really, i tried to put a 2000 battery in a phat PSP and it wouldnt fit, there is this little plastic nudge on it. But the phat battery worked in both 2000 and 1000

Sorry for being vague. I meant 1000 battery works with 2000. Not vice versa. The battery cover will stick out though.

There have been perfectly good homebrew cheat apps for quite some time now.

I find it especially amusing/sad that they release this now, when the exploit doesn't even work on new PSPs (and I doubt they've done anything to fix that). V_v If they'd done it before the 3000/new boards came out, at least the product would be usable by all foolish enough to buy it.

Despite Datel’s earlier shenanigans when they claimed PSP-3000 hackage with a Pandora-like battery, which, as you know, turned out to be a total sham.

Well, this time ’round, it would seem they have actually accomplished something real… Whether they have an agreement with Sony to sign their EBOOT or they’ve actually cracked the signing/encryption process, who knows… Nonetheless, it’s an interesting conversation piece.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-88AKsxt6Yc&feature=player_embedded

Check out Datel’s Action Replay Demo for all PSP models and firmwares.

Wololo has confirmed it and I can say the same: Action Replay works on my PSPgo and PSP-2000. Hell, I’m even tempted to buy an Action Replay license key now. It’s pretty slick.

Anyway, what does all this mean? Well for starters — if it’s truly a hack — it’s highly unlikely Datel will reveal how they accomplished such a feat. Otherwise, it just means Datel has the dollar-dollar-bills to be Sony’s new BFF.

How long until the keygens start showing up?

The AR software connects to http://www.maximummemory.com/PSPActionR ... ttings.asp to gather information about updates and download the eboot.pbp file for your PSP model. (This is the executable that is copied to the memory stick.) Here are the direct links to the eboot.pbp files, as of 12-27-09:

http://www.maximummemory.com/ar_psp/Mul ... /eboot.pbp

As far I know; nope. The AR software checks in with Datel. From my minimal research, I noticed it sends your license key (or license file?) in an HTTP [clear-text] POST. Not the most secure key exchange ever. ;) That can always be patched out...

Your PSP has to be updated to the latest firmware (6.20) in order for the new Action Replay PSP to work.
