Some fucker keeps spamming my e-mail asking for the source code to this. Here is a compiled copy: http://projects.sappharad.com/tools/AnotherGCNrdGUI.zip Here is the source code: http://projects.sappharad.com/tools/Ano ... UI_src.zip Consider it LGPL, I guess. (Although I didn't bother including a copy of the LGPL, or any readme file period) ![]() Unfinished, and although it's Java, you don't want to even try running it outside of Windows. The control sizes in the GUI are all absolute, and it looks like crap elsewhere. I was in the process of re-doing the GUI so it's re-sizable and looks right on other OS's (and actually, I finished the search tab its in the source) but I never bothered integrating that code. This was about two years ago too. Had I bothered to integrate the new search tab, it would've allowed for unlimited concurrent searches. Anyway, here is a list of features as far as I remember: - Hook search (using the config file stolen from the real GCNrd tool) - Manual hook - Code Search - A progress bar on code search, so you can actually see it working! - Peek - Poke - Can search any memory range. (needed to hack codes for Sonic the Fighters in Sonic Gems Collection) - Can search in Little Endian mode instead of Big Endian. (needed to hack codes for Sonic the Fighters in Sonic Gems Collection) I hope this can be useful to someone. Bonus: Most of it isn't commented. In fact, I just zipped this up about 10 minutes ago without changing a thing. Edit: Oh yeah, and this was written before GCNrd 1.1b was released, so it probably only works with GCNrd 1.0b. |

Yeah. He sent me an e-mail apologizing, although I've just been mocking him most of the time. (The "spamming my e-mail" thing isn't serious, I get about 40 spam messages a day and his e-mails don't really impact that.) I did want to release this and the source eventually, so it's here now. I hadn't planned to release until a feature complete version was ready though, but I don't think I'll have time to do that soon anyway. |

I'm not writing codes for GCN any more, but IIRC GCNrd was pretty great. I had issues with the 1.1 version when I was trying to use GCNrd to enter codes automatically via the AR virtual keyboard. Never could get that to work. Ended up banging all my codes in by hand -- using the plug in keyboard, of course. No way I enter in codes by hand on the on-screen AR keyboard. If there's any sort of interest in GCNrd any more, I might be willing to contribute to it, now that you've posted some source. I haven't powered up the GCN in a long time, but I'm sure I have all the stuff for running GCNrd laying around here somewhere... I doubt many serious people are working with GCN, but who knows? |

I don't even have server source code that compiles any more. I started rewriting it for version 2, and haven't bothered making backups because it wasn't open source any way. |
