When I'm scanning my computer, the memory usage of this becomes insanely high. Like 250MB+, which really slows down my computer. It doesn't only happen when I scan though. It's sometimes happens when I'm doing minor, like using multiple browsers at the same time.

Is there a way to lower it? I'm using Windows XP, but it doesn't happen on my other computer with Vista. Both computers have the same qualities.

250MB isn't much. That's only 6% of the total physical memory in my laptop. And 4GB is modest, these days.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, so I wasn't sure if it was this causing the problem...
It's just, when I begin scanning the computer, it lags really badly, so I take a look at the processes that are currently running and everything seems completely normal. Nothing is taking up my CPU, other than that System file...

Oh, mines 3.25GB. I don't see how it could be this bad...

Haha, jleemero...
Would I be able to find it if it was a trojan? I used Shaw and AVG. Didn't really help.

Sure, I'll try Malwarebytes.

And that would be why.

Malwarebyte's, Clamwin.
'Tis all I use.

Cut down your torrenting of random child porn, that might help.

I don't remember the last time I had a virus...
An unintentional one, anyway.
