Title: Time Lord
Hi there I'm new here, I currentlyh have codes for pokemon fire red but I'm having problems with them. For one if I choose my codes at the begining of the game and choose boy then after wards type my name it comes up as a girl. The second problem is if I succesfully have boy in battle it shows up as a girl or when I enter some buildings it will be a girl. Also it Won't allow me to save propperly or comes up in weird text I don't understand what codes i'm using wrong or if there are codes to get around this problem so can some one please help me out here I really need it.

I bet the programmers are having quite a laugh over this.

If you start the game without any codes, save, and then restart with codes on, does it work?

That happends to everyone... What you have to do in the end is use a gender changing code, after you finished hacking all your items, pokemon etc.
