this is a n00b question but what would i need to perform ds asm code hacks i already no about ar codes and can make ar codes but want to make more advanced asm codes eg.walkthrough walls(really advanced) and exp+speed multipliers |

Are you familiar with assembly language? The CPU(s) used in DS are ARM-based, so you need to be familiar with the ARM (and Thumb) instruction sets. A debugger is also an invaluable tool. Here is one place to start: http://doc.kodewerx.org/hacking_nds.html#asm_hack |
