Note that there are lots of codes that will never be able to be ported by a computer (human needed) because of the great differences between the CB and AR.

Happens sometimes, just try the process again. Could be a combination of codes also so just try to make it be the only code turned on.

* : This code works like the 'Wild Pokémons are Shiny!!!' one (ie. need to check your trainer card before using), but it also makes any Pokémons hatching from eggs shiny. The shinyness for eggs is calculated at 2 points : when receiving the egg from the old man (and maybe from other npcs?), and when the egg is hatching. So, if you receive the egg from the old man, and see the egg's Pokémon stats are good for you (using my "Press L to 'see the contents' of the Eggs" code), disable the shiny code before the egg's hatches (else its stats will be changed - and turn back the code on after hatching). On the other side, if the stats are not good, keep the code on. That also means that an egg that was given to you can/will be shiny upon hatching. Also note this code works with the starter Pokémons !

Ok so i got the code to work things are nice and shiny and all that but for some reason unknown to me it is negating my Nature code so that the pokes i catch have a random nature instead of the one i set up for them to have. Can anyone help me figure out why this is?

The codes are probably conflicting against each other.
Try finding a diffferent code that makes pokemon shiny.
Then maybe the nature modifier will start to work

Post subject:  Re: The /only/ Pokemon Help Thread

I have a problem.

I have Pokemon Platinum for the Nintendo DS, and the other night I looked up the Game ID for it.

It's listed at- CPUE-d074d1b3. And that's what it's listed at about everywhere.

I added that to my ARDS, and it told me unknown game still. My game ID is CPUE-3811def6.

I figured I'd try to add a Pokemon Platinum code that was supposedly for this verison, and my DS's bottom screen began to have blue and red lines fly down the screen. The screen is now white, and my ARDS is kaboom. Oh well, my mistake.

The point is- What the hell is going on? Why is my game ID different than everyone elses? :\. My friend brought over his ARDS, and I can't find anything about subscriptions to this ID.

Any help is appreciated.

Datel did a typo. There should only be one line for the game id. try to get rid of 3811def6 in the game id. double click the game title (using the code manager). Also can
someone help me? read my help thread in dial 911.

I clicked the name and it doesn't come up with the game ID. It just opens the folder.

And yes, everything is fully updated, if it matters.

Post subject:  Re: The /only/ Pokemon Help Thread

I am currently into writing some kind of beginners tutorial on how to make AR cheatcodes. I chose Pokemon Black (G) as basis for my examples. Maybe not the best but well^^ No DMA, shouldn't be that hard, at least I thought so. Actuall I just wanted to do some kind of basic RAM-Write for demonstration purposes; I've chosen to make an infinite HP cheat (I don't talk about putting it into AR Format in the second lesson)

But the game chose to be a litte bit bitchy. I can narrow down the results to three adresses; It seems like all of them are holding the current HP value. Also, it seems that I have to patch all three adresses that anything happens. I identified one as being responsible for what the player sees, but I don't know what the others do. So far no problem. I fixed these three values with my current max HP (23).

After a levelup I noticed some REALLY strange behavior. After a fresh heal in a pokecenter (which should NOT be neccesary), my first Pokemon was killed by everything with one hit. From now on, the game hangs: I cannot switch in another Pokemon, and I cannot run away. Anyone noticed such behavior? Strangely, if one fixes the value of all three adresses to something greater than max HP (eg 999), it seems to work.

I am aware that nobody sane would make such a code that way. It is just for demonstration purposes. Hell, even I do not make a code that way in a real life situation (asm to ards ftw). But it is well enough for demonstration purposes: it does what it should, although it is buggy as hell.
